Helium 10 Guides / Platinum vs Diamond
PLAN COMPARISON · VERIFIED SEPTEMBER 14, 2026
Platinum and Diamond use the same core Helium 10 research ecosystem, but they target very different operating stages. Platinum is the lean research plan. Diamond adds AI, advertising controls, much higher operational limits and more team/account capacity.
Annual equivalent: $99/month, billed $1,188 yearly.
Annual equivalent: $279/month, billed $3,348 yearly.

Where Platinum is genuinely enough
Platinum contains the research stack most new private-label sellers actually buy H10 for: Black Box to discover product candidates, Xray to inspect Amazon search results, Cerebro to reverse-search competitor ASINs and Magnet to expand seed keywords. It also provides Freedom Ticket and basic profit/performance visibility.
A seller researching one category, managing a small catalog and working alone may gain little from paying another $230 every month. The practical test is usage: if 100 combined monthly Cerebro and Magnet searches, 20 tracked products, 40 inventory SKUs and two connected accounts cover the workflow, Platinum is usually the more disciplined choice.

The Platinum limit most buyers miss
Helium 10’s April 16, 2026 notice changed Platinum to 100 combined Cerebro and Magnet uses per billing cycle. In Cerebro, every ASIN entered counts as one use. A 10-ASIN query therefore costs ten uses, not one. Reopening a saved result from History does not consume a new use, the counter resets on the billing date and unused uses do not roll over.
This does not automatically make Platinum poor value. It does mean agencies and aggressive product researchers should calculate expected ASIN inputs before subscribing. Our Cerebro search-limit guide includes a monthly usage-budget workflow.
What Diamond adds beyond larger limits
Helium Agent and MCP
Diamond includes all five current Helium Agent specialists and up to 1,000 MCP calls on the live pricing page. Lower plans receive the Knowledge Agent only. Helium 10 says Helium Agent is read-only: it can analyze account data and recommend actions, but it cannot change campaigns, bids or budgets. That safety boundary is important when valuing the feature.

Advertising controls
Diamond unlocks full Helium 10 Ads, including campaign management, rules, automation, AI-assisted advertising tools and dayparting. This is a major functional difference, but it has a variable cost.
Operations and team scale
Diamond expands tracked ASINs from 20 to 1,000, inventory SKUs from 40 to 500, Follow-Up emails from 5,000 to 15,000, connected accounts from two to ten and additional users from one to five. These are meaningful upgrades only when the business actually approaches the lower thresholds.
When the Diamond upgrade pays for itself
The list-price difference is $230 per month, or $2,160 per year when comparing the current annual plans. Diamond should save or create more value than that gap.
| Situation | Upgrade logic | Watch-out |
|---|---|---|
| More than 40 managed SKUs | Diamond raises inventory capacity to 500 | Confirm all SKUs need H10 inventory workflows |
| Several operators need access | Five additional users and ten account connections reduce credential sharing | Check role permissions and actual team adoption |
| Regular PPC optimization | Ads rules and dayparting may save operating time | Add the 2% Managed-spend fee to ROI |
| Frequent cross-tool AI analysis | Helium Agent and MCP reduce manual exports | Agent is read-only; included MCP usage is finite |
| Large product portfolio | 1,000 tracked ASINs supports portfolio monitoring | More tracked data is not useful without a review process |
Three seller examples
New seller validating a first product
Start with Free to inspect the interface, then Platinum monthly when a real research workflow begins. Diamond is usually premature because the seller has no advertising system, team or large catalog.
Growing brand with 25 products and active PPC
Diamond becomes credible. The 20-ASIN insight limit and 40-SKU ceiling are close, Ads controls matter, and additional users may improve accountability. Calculate the 2% fee before switching profiles to Managed.
Agency managing several seller accounts
Diamond’s ten account connections and five additional users are more useful than Platinum, but an agency can still outgrow it. Compare Enterprise when client count, permissions, tracked ASINs or advertising spend require custom limits.
Monthly vs annual choice
Annual billing currently saves $360 on Platinum and $960 on Diamond compared with twelve monthly payments. Choose annual only after the plan has survived a real usage review. A cheaper annual price is not a saving if the team stops using the features after two months.
- Begin with monthly when testing fit or onboarding a team.
- Review actual Cerebro/Magnet usage, connected accounts, tracked ASINs and Ads profiles.
- Move to annual when those workflows are stable and renewal cash flow is comfortable.
